We encourage every student to do an internship so they can get hands-on work experience and make important career connections.

We successfully help students get internships at institutions around Evansville and across the nation.

Local internship opportunities include:

  • Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc.
    One of the country’s leading full-service cultural resource consulting firms. Interns work in their lab and help with field survey and excavation projects when possible.
  • 雷兹家居博物馆
    Evansville’s only Victorian House Museum. Interns work behind the scenes handling historic artifacts as well as give tours of the house to the public.
  • Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science
    The museum offers permanent and changing exhibits as well as educational and family programs throughout the year. Interns work behind the scenes helping to catalog artifacts and art, 准备展品, and conduct educational programs.
  • Angel Mounds State Museum Historic Site
    One of the best-preserved, pre-contact Native American sites in North America. Today the 600-acre site comprises earthen mounds, recreations of Mississippian buildings, 还有一个解说中心. Interns help out in the interpretive center, 与学校团体互动, and assist the staff during public events.
  • Evansville African American Museum
    Located in the last remaining building of Lincoln Gardens, the second Federal Housing Project created under the administration of Franklin D. 罗斯福1938年的新政, the museum is a resource and cultural center which collects, 保存, and educates the public on the history and traditions of African American families, 组织, 和社区. Interns work behind the scenes helping to catalog artifacts and 准备展品.
  • Koch Family Children’s Museum
    The museum features three floors of exhibits and activities that provide sensory experiences and engaging educational content. Interns work to help create and conduct activities for visitors.

    The library houses a trove of local archives and genealogical materials, in addition to its collection of standard publications. Interns work closely with the archivist to catalog and conserve photos and documents.
